The Kensington Fire Riders is a 4-H horse project group with the Rockingham County 4-H program.
We welcome youths between the ages of 8 and 18 who are interested in learning more about horses.
Some of our activities include learning how to care for horses, identifying conformation faults,
and horse first aid. Each summer members attend the County horse show as either riders or
stable managers, and several members go on to compete at the State and Regional levels.
Members not only learn about horses but also develop life skills that help them become productive adults.
We meet every other Wednesday evening at Trundle Bed Farm.
